Well folks, that’s it, I’m done with the Superior hiking trail! The last few days were just nice hiking, nothing significant or noteworthy really happened, I was just chugging along enjoying my forests!
So overall, I really enjoyed this trail, it’s a very pretty walk through lovely forests. However, I would never walk it during the summer again, if I was ever going to hike this again it would absolutely be at the end of September/early October to get the fall colors. I’m guessing that at that time of year this trail would change from nice/lovely to absolutely spectacular! Who knows, maybe I’ll come back someday and find out 😉

I’ve managed to successfully avoid most of the hwy 101 walking (but not entirely). For example, yesterday I took a “ferry” across Nehalem bay/river (the ferry was a small fishing…
I don’t even remember my last post, was it from Stevens pass? Seems like so long ago even though I know it was only a few days. Anyway, I started hiking with a group of other north-bound section hikers who were finishing up their PCT hikes from previous years, so we all decided to get…
